Job Purpose:
•To apply specialist process engineering expertise to monitor and control the large CCGT power plant from the Power Plant located at Ibri and Sohar, so to ensure a safe efficient power supply.
•To recommend and implement action to increase performance.
•To work closely with the operation team to ensure the Plant routines are actioned efficiently and to high quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
•Operate and monitor the operations of all equipment and machines Coordinate with O&M team in executing activities
•Manage outsourcing activities for areas concerning the breakdown and annual outages of the stations
•Develop Standard Operating Procedures for operation activities Oversee other technical areas, as and when required
•Act as an incident commander and HSE representative
•Extend support to shift in-charge
•Responsible to operate/look after full plant
•To communicate with Load Dispatch Centre about the delivery and demand.
•To communication with the suppliers of Gas and Water as required
•To declare Power availabilities.
•Plant startup and shutdown as per requirements
•Raise work orders in CMMS about the plant defects Finalizing and planning for next day activities with maintenance team.

Desired Candidate Profile
Mode of the Interview (F2F/ Video call/ Telephonic Others) :Video Call.
•Plus 6 years for Degree holders of relevant Power Plant operational experience, or,
•Plus 8 years for Diploma holders of relevant Power Plant operational experience.
Required Skill Set : Combined Cycle Power Plant + Prefereed in Gas Turbine 26 + Familiar with SAP system.
Qualification :Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical
•Plus 6 years for Degree holders of relevant Power Plant operational experience, or,
•Plus 8 years for Diploma holders of relevant Power Plant operational experience.
