We are looking for an Instrument Engineer to work within the operations department for a large Oil & Gas operator. The role will be residential in Dubai (5 days a week) with a permanent monthly salary and full expat package.
Role:
- Supporting all offshore operational assets for: instrumentation, control, safeguard and condition monitoring systems
- Determine best practices for reliability
- Single point of contact for all modifications activities, including ordering equipment, planning for pre-commissioning and then final commissioning

- Offshore operations, maintenance, E&I teams and techs
- E&I workshop and warehouse
- Procurement
- Operational support teams (Mech, Rotating and Reliability)
External contact:
- Rockwell / TCL for PLC's
- Woodward for Fuel Valves
- Invensys Triconex for F&G systems
- Invensys and Rosemount for DCS
- Haven for Fire Suppression
- CCC for Surge Control Systems
- GE for Vibration Systems
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical, Instruments, Electronics or other relevant discipline
- 10 years Operations & Maintenance support for offshore installations
- Field Instrumentation & Device
- DCS Systems
- PLC Controls PLC-5 and RSLogix 5000
- Pneumatic controls
- Turbine & Compressor pump controls
- Fire and gas ESD systems
- Control & Shutdown valves
- Plant information management system
